Baby Shower #2 : Boho Dreams

Baby Shower #2 : Boho Dreams

I made such a rookie blogger move and didn’t use my camera at my baby shower. Well, I actually couldn’t really get it to work and gave up because I had to save my energy for other things that day. You know how it is, I can’t even cut my own toe nails right now.

Let me be honest (it’s not bragging because my friends get all of the credit for this), my boho themed baby shower was SO Pinterest worthy and beautiful! My friends were THE dream team for this baby shower.

This gorgeous white maxi dress was provided by PinkBlush. I am wearing a size Small.

The Deets :

My friends Candi, Jen, Abby, Jan, and Sameya all worked together to create such a BEAUTIFUL set-up. Hopefully this will help you think of some unique ideas for your own shower!

We had originally planned to possibly do the shower outside but I had a feeling it would be too cold for my older relatives, so we planned it for inside our house. Thankfully we made this plan because it had been pouring rain and continued to do so throughout the weekend. It ended up working out perfectly!

Candi blew me away with putting this shower together. I don’t even know how she found time to do all of this. From the invitations, to the chocolate covered strawberries, to the chocolate dipped rice krispies treats, to the spray painted mason jars, to the mom-osa bar, to the headband making station set-up, to the fingerprint on a dreamcatcher to frame for baby, everything was perfectly thought out!

Jen recently moved here from Canada and started an event company called Sacramento Event Co. She provided the displays, the couches, the pillows, and helped Candi with the overall vision. Check her out if you’re living in the Sacramento area.

Abby provided the flowers and she made my super cute flower crown! Sameya made a fun game in video form of Urijah answering baby questions. I had to answer the question first with what I thought his answer would be, then for every one that I got wrong, I had to chew a piece of Bubble Yum. Jan helped with the food and made some amazing salads! Party guests love homemade salads vs store bought ones so luckily, they’re easy and inexpensive to make.

Kimia’s Bakery made the gluten-free, vegan confetti cupcakes and protein bites. Both of them were soooo good! I still had a few left over and hid them in our outside fridge so I could eat them when nobody was looking 😉

I can’t thank all of these women enough for making this day happen! It was truly a dream and I am so appreciative to have them all in my life.

I hope this was some good baby shower inspo for all of you expecting mamas and shower planners out there!
